Everything here is practice, not the real thing

Said plainly, once, on its own page. The same statement appears on every test and every game page, because it matters more than it is convenient.

Not affiliated, not endorsed, not official

OpenThinkr is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Pymetrics, Harver, or any employer named anywhere on this site.

Pymetrics is a real product built by a real company. It was acquired by Harver in 2022 and is used by employers as part of their hiring process. This site is not that product, is not a licensed version of it, and has no relationship with the people who make it.

What the tests on this site actually are

They are unofficial practice versions, rebuilt from publicly described mechanics: employer guidance, university careers service write-ups, and published descriptions of what each task involves. They are built to feel like the format so that the format is not new to you on the day it counts.

If you have been invited to take a real assessment, take it through the link your employer sent you. Nothing on this site is a route into it.

Trademarks

Pymetrics and Harver are trademarks of their respective owners. Employer names such as J.P. Morgan, BCG and Unilever are trademarks of those companies. They are used on this site only to describe what a practice test prepares you for, which is a factual reference and not a claim of association.

If you own one of those marks and believe something here is misleading, write to hello@openthinkr.com and it will be looked at properly.

Results are not advice

Results are for interest and self-reflection, not clinical assessment. A score here is a snapshot of how you did today, not a diagnosis. OpenThinkr is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Pymetrics, Harver, or any employer named on this site.

Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, clinical, legal, financial or career advice. Tests here are for interest and self-reflection. They are not diagnostic instruments, they have not been clinically validated, and a result is a snapshot of one attempt on one day rather than a fixed fact about you.

Do not use anything here to make a decision you would want a professional involved in. If a result worries you, talk to somebody qualified rather than to a website.

Accuracy

The descriptions of what the real assessment involves are drawn from public sources and were accurate as far as could be established when written. Assessments change, employers switch games on and off, and published guidance goes out of date. Treat every description here as a best effort rather than a guarantee, and treat the employer's own instructions as the authority.
